I want to know if a firm have turnover from services less than 10 lakhs p.a. And service tax return can be prepared on semi annualy basis. How they know in advance that their turnover is less than 10 lakhs.

Even if they fail to Know, They can Claim Exemption of the First 10 Lakhs in the year and start paying ST from the next after 10 Lakhs.
