25 April 2017 Dear Sir,
The Assesse's salary income has not been taken into account while computing income and expenditure. His Professional income is Rs. 25.00 Lacs and net profit after deducting all expenses is more than 50%. So please tell whether he is eligible under section 44 ADA and can he file ITR 4 (Sugam) for A.Y. 2017-18.

Thanks,
Abhishek.

23 October 2021 No. Salary income will not get clubbed into professional income. It can be declared under salary income head separately, under ITR 4(Sugam) ....... recently changed to ITR4.
