09 August 2017 An indiancitizen during the financial year 2016-17l who worked in india 32 days during the year as an employee and afterwards left india to singapore for employment and worked there for 186 days. After resigning the post in singapore he rejoined the employment in india afterwards in the same financial year(147days). So, total stay in india works out to 179 days. Whether he will be treated as Non-resident in india for income tax purpose.
