i have filled my service tax return(period from july-sep)but system rejected my return due wrong selection of constituion(i.e individual in lieu of partnership)
my question is
1)can i opt scheme under VEAS
2)or file revised return
3)or any way from which i have save my panalty of late filling of return

File the return afresh choosing the option 'original return'.
Late filing fee (penalty) can't be avoided unless it is a 'NIL' return.

Sir, If the return is filed by the assessee and it gets rejected, then he has to file Revise return and that did not attract any penalty.

Can you please provide me some more information like FAQ /Instructions etc to substantiate your view so that I may get more clarity on this issue.
