Although your product is exempt from payment of central excise duty, you can claim refund of service tax paid under Rule 5 of Cenvat Credit Rules. Further such refund is also possible under Service Tax Notification. However under Service Tax notification only service tax paid on input services can be refunded, under Cenvat Credit Rules refund is also possible with respect to Central Excise duty paid on good.
