If an emplyoee is appointed in the mid of feb then how much PT should deduct 200 or 300

07 March 2013 If his prorated salary for Feb exceeds 10,000

or

If his annual salary ( including salary with previous employer) exceeds 120,000,

Profession Tax would be 300.


If his annual salary including Feb is less than 10000, then PT would 60, 120 or 175, as per applicate rate.

So in any case 200 can not be deducted in Feb.
