one of my client after application of pan card he received pan no but he does not received pan card and its happen few months
back. how he received his pan card?advice me thanks?

25 August 2012 He can request reissue of PAn with NSDL, after ascertaining the status of PAN Card issued. Hope address is not an issue.

27 August 2012 I guess you got P.A.Number through web. Chances for non receipt of CARD may be following:
1. Address provided in application may not be correct one, or some mistake might have been made while filling blocks. If you have maintained photo copy 49A please verify it.

2. Post or courier delivery might not have been taken by authorized person or by the person to whom it has been addressed.

3. After applying for PAN person might have changed his/her address.

If you have received post/courier with PAN allotment letter and no PAN Card in it, then you can complain to Agency where you have applied. But it is a prolonged process which most of the time ends up in correspondence. So I suggest to apply for Duplicate PAN Card. But once you receive duplicate card it will be safe to inform Agency or Income Tax Department the instance regarding non receipt of PAN card applied initially.
