We have a Lodging Hotel in Pune (Maharashtra). We receive some of our online bookings through GOIBIBO ( GURGAON). GOIBIBO collect payment from customers & after deduction of their commission they transfer the remaining amount to our bank account. At the end of the month, GOIBIBO send us consolidated commission invoice which they have already deducted through bookings done in the particular month) by charging IGST.
For example - Mr A booked room through GOIBIBO for Rs 3000/- & made payment to GOIBIBO Rs 3000/-. GOIBIBO deduct their commission 1000/- and raise bill with + IGST 18% i.e. 180/- = Total Bill Amt to us 1,180/- & transfer balance amount to our Bank Account Rs 1820/-
So, my question is 1) On whose name and by which amount we have to raise Sale Invoice with GST or IGST. 2) Can we take refund of IGST billed by GOIBIBO to us. Thanks Please help. Thanks

2. Yes... You can take ITC for the IGST from the billing if GOIBIBO. No more restriction...

Sir, Thank you for the reply. Balance amt we received by NEFT in our bank. And GOIBIBO asks us to raise full invoice on customers name for 3000/- full amount where we have to charge SGST & CGST 12% inclusive of Rs 3000/-. is this process correct? Can we take input tax credit of IGST against payment of SGST & CGST?

It is possible to take ITC of the IGST paid on commission billings to GOIBIBO against CGST/SGST chargeable to customers. Further the process .of charging Rs.3000/- to customers inclusive of GST is also correct.
