18 September 2012 In a private company when shareholders vote at a meeting, is their individual vote considered proportional to their shareholding (so if they hold 55% of shares, will their one vote count as 55 out of total 100)?

19 September 2012 On show of hands generally vote cast in favour of resolution and vote cast against hte resolutions are to be counted. therefore, one shareholder shall be counted as 1 vote irrespective of his holding.
