17 September 2011 Hello,

If a Member of ICAI working as Paid Assistant in a CA Firm & his Certificate Of Practice status on ICAI site shows as Active-Full Time but he has not yet received physical script of Certificate of Practice. Please tell me whether he can conduct a TAX AUDIT of one of his client and whether he can certify the E - Forms to be submitted at MCA site as CA in full time practice. He has also informed to his regional council about his engagement as Paid Assistant but no letter of permission granted is received from council.

Please guide me on above query its urgent.

18 September 2011 No is no relation with that his actual status is not reflecting in the Institute records.

What is true is the deciding factor.

but sorry i m not able to understad ur point. Please elobrate ur point also tell me whether a paid assisstant can be a Deemed Member in Full Time Practice

28 September 2011 sorry in my previous reply the word "there" after "No" is omitted while typing.

I meant to say that " there is no importance that the actual status is not reflecting in the ICAI records".

What is true means "your actual status" is the deciding factor.

Further a paid assistance can't be treated in Full time COP.

How a member who is in employment can show himself/herself as in Full time practice.

Its simple logic that FULL Time means "full time & no part time"
