i joined a ca firm as a paid assistant(CA) 2 months before but at the time of joining they have denied me for giving joining letter and then i left the firm on 25th of last month after giving 15 days notice period and also served my notice period but now they denied to give releasing letter and salary for the last month by saying that you have not served 30 days notice period witch is a general business practice prevailing in industry..i also gone to office 2 time to meet the principle but he denied to meet me
now please suggest for the action to be taken by me..can i compliant anywhere ,,,

It depends upon the concrete documentary evidence which you have with you. Take the advice of a good lawyer about the quality of evidence you are having and then proceed on to make a complaint against the CA with his/her institute. An approximate estimate of the cost of lawyer's fee would be around 25000 + travelling to the centre where the council of ICAI sits. (It moves from place to place) I think you should take this as a lesson and in your forthcoming employment, be sure not to commit the same mistake......because..."If a donkey kicks you twice, it means you have learnt nothing from the first kick" Isnt it?
