Hi, I am an MBA(Marketing)graduate.I am working in one of the big four as a tax analyst.Clearly, my education and the work experience I am building are in different fields. Now I want to have an education that would help me move up the ladder in the field of finance. I am looking for a course that is relatively short but at the same time gives me a finance background to showcase. Please suggest what course to opt for. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I am thinking of doing CPA, but given my educational background, do you think it is a wise plan? One of the reasons I want to do it is the fact that it is popular in the gulf and I plan to move to the gulf at some point in the future. If you could recommend some other course that would help me move to the gulf, that would be a real help.

I think it is will be worth an effort to do CPA and not to bang on any short term (you are going to live for long term, so think long term)
Also check with ACCA or CIMA for exemptions using your MBA
