I had shares of few companies while I was residing in US. Now that I have shifted back to India, wanted to check on the few things: >>The holding currently I have is not doing well and on selling those shares I would be incurring loss, will I be allowed to offset the loss on shares in NYSE here when I file my Tax return in India. >>If yes, how long will carry forward of loss be allowed to offset with the gains in future years.
