In our office, for a corporate client we have applied for a DIN and digital signature for the director of that company and also obtained an usb token for the director and with aid of that token we have filed the company's income tax return electronically until last year with the digital signature. Now we have misplaced that entire set of Digital signature box in our office and now we are running short of time to file the return. Pls explain what has to be done now? The USB token was renewed last year and hence it is valid presently.We know only the assessee name and his PAN and company's PAN. We doesnt know the usb token number its password as it was written briefly in that box. Kindly suggest, 1) Whether to apply a new Digital signature USB token?? 2) Is it possible to file digitally even now without the digital signature USB token?

Pl contact your DSC provider and ask for a soft copy of the DSC via., e-mail. With that soft copy u can upload IT as well as MCA forms. So 2nd option can also be worked out.
