sir thank you sir it is very helpful to me.i just want to know that if salary holder has any other income sources then preparation of balance sheet and other a/c is neccesary or not because the assessee mey be some undisclosed income. please clear me.

balance sheet and p&L is not necessary if the assessee is not having the business income other income except the business income does not require balance sheets you can ask for his bank statement (not salary a/c) and you can accordingly work for that if he has some undisclosed income you cannot be held responsible for that and there is no means for identifying that except asking to the assessee so you can only identify the bank statement for any other source or for any receipts
