I want to opt for IT sector after completion of CA and i want to know what are the scopes and what type of work is there and is there any need of doing any additional IT course before applying in IT Sector in Campus..and which companies are good ?

It is an ok ok sector. the finance side exposure is constrained and often boring.
However, if you get to work on the technical side, like product development etc, it could be good.
remember all the banks today run on the software system managed by IT companies. With increasing computerization of business operations, IT sector is going to become more and more important.
But as I said, if you get into basic operations then its a boring thing. Financial software development, treasury management etc could be the interesting parts.

The expertise of CAs is now being utilized to a greater extent in insurance, IT, public finance, risk & assurance services, etc. However, IT Sector {WIPRO, INFOSYS,TATA}providing huge packages to CA instead of any other sectors...

If you get a chance in some IT sector, during provisional periods you will learn SAP and other important courses... You don't have to expend a single penny...
