26 February 2013 Since DEPB licenses are categorised as goods. This is very basis for a dealer to claim input tax credit on the same as a dealer of DEPB license.

Is there some notification which clarifies this. Our assessing officer in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh has refused ITC on DEPB licences.
