14 March 2013 1) Can input service tax credit be taken of earlier month in current mnth( i.e credit of feb in mar)

2) Credit of Apr mnth, but service tax number not yet taken, then can that credit be taken after taking ST number

3) Credit of Apr to Aug mnth, but service tax aplicability from Sep mnth, then can credit be taken of apr to aug mnth, after applicable of serive tax.

15 March 2013 1.Yes , since there is no time limit of availing input credit for input services( i.e reasonable time).

2.If you pay the service tax for the respective months after registration then credit can be taken otherwise not.

3.No credit,since input services used for exempted services.
