Indirect tax means the tax impliedly charge in indirect manner such as goods manufactured and excise duty liability arose, but actual liability arose at the time of clearnce of these goods from the factory of production. some taxes are indirect taxes - Central Excise Duty, Sales Tax, VAT, CST, Service Tax.
