Dear all.
I have filled my return in showing the net details as per the Form 16 issued by my Employer, after assessment by the CPC Income Dept. they issued me the Demand notice notice 143(1) Rs...
Now, I found one mistake for the Interest paid on Hsg. Loan is Loss carried on for the next year but not set off in my Total Income so, A.O. raised the query for the ,
This is only typographical error in the E Return , Now I want to Rectify the same so how does it possible to me?
Please help me....

You have not mentioned the assessment year. if a.y. is 09-10 then you can revise the return (only if you have filed the original return within 31st july 09. the 2nd option is, file rectification u/s 154. if it is possible, try to follow 1st option.
