I paid rent 84,000/- for 7 months (12,000/- per month) to the house owner A and 60,000- for 5 months (12,000/- per month). (both in New Delhi)
total rent paid(84,000) to owner A is below Rs. 100,000/- for the year 2013-14. Similarly rent paid(60,000) to owner B is also below Rs. 100,000/- for the year 2013-14, There should not be any requirement to submit the proof of PAN of both owner
Whether, in this case I have to submit PAN of both owner to the Income Tax Department?
Basic 250,000 Actual HRA 150,000 Rent Paid(144,000) - 10% of Basic Salary(25,000) 119,000 50% of Basic Salary 125,000 least of 150,000 / 119,000 / 125,000 = 119,000 (without PAN of both owners)
It is mentioned if annual rent paid by an employee is more than a lakh rupee then PAN no of landlord is mandatory, so if you have to give PAN of Both Landlords.
