recently I have purchased san disk 8 GB pen drive and I started copying data to it, after copying some data, there was a message that the disk is write-protected. I have tried to remove the write protection by using regedit in the run command and making the value as 0. but the method has not solved my issue. I have done thorough virus scan check by updating the old virus scan software but to no avail! .
Can anybody suggest how to remove write protection of san disk pen drive?

1.Know that each SD card and mini SD card has a switch that can slide up or down. This switch is usually labeled with the word "Lock." 2.Slide this switch down to the locked position. If you plug the card into a card reader, you'll see you cannot copy files onto the card. 3.In order to keep the switch from accidentally sliding down into the locked position, you can tape it down with with tape. A small piece or two placed over the switch can hold it in place. Removing Write Protection From a SanDisk Cruzer Flash Drive • 4 Using Windows XP, plug your flash drive into a free USB port. • 5 Open "My Computer." • 6 Right-click on the letter of your flash drive (usually F:/ or G:/) and select "Properties." • 7 Click on the sharing tab to make it active. • 8 Click "Permissions." • 9 Check the "Allow" box next to "Full Control."
