for a practicing ca!!

This query is : Resolved

04 October 2008 ` hi friends.. i cleared my ca final recently and now deciding to go for practice in a firm in tire 2 city.

so my query is what else i can add to my degrees. like cs or cfa (indian or american) or isa or anything else.

i wanted to know which is better and why??

so if some one can explain me in brief what will be better??

04 October 2008 My sugesstion is CS AND DISA.

04 October 2008 ISA is enough in my opinion if you opting for practice. CS is almost eqivalent to CA and practising CAs can do 70 to 80% of the work which is being done by CS. So in my opinion, there is better scope for ISA courses (From India and Out of country) in practise, then CS. CFA is better option if you choose for job, or you are planning to grab some BPO/KPO type works in future.

05 October 2008 Start with IFRS as it is the need of the hour.

06 October 2008 thanks
