Financial statements at group company level in tally


22 March 2012 Dear seniors and friends,

if we maintain group company in tally shall we take reports at group company level, I working in a manufacturing organisation, we are maintaining accounts separately for each three factory as a separate company in tally. but for managerial purpose and other statutory purpose we want to consolidate the accounts statements in MS Office-Excel. is there any option for consolidate the three company reports by group company level in tally. is there any option in tally for this solution. please help me

23 March 2012 Dear Ramesh sir, i tried, but how can i get a single balance sheet for three factory accounts as consolidated, can u give me steps of pictures for that.


23 March 2012 yes. options is there to get Single balance sheet of 3 factories account. open all the three accounts in single tally and go to create company option and you can find one option called create group company. select the same and link all the three factories account and close the tally and open again the group company, you can view the consolidated p&l and balance sheet

27 March 2012 Thank you very much Mr. Ramesh, but i want to view a single ledger (ex. a particular creditor ledger) which is common for all three companies. can i view consolidated ledger balance and consolidated ledger statement?
