i have filled nil returns starting dec2008 to april10 and now i have done a business of 10lakhs in this 6 months now i have to file returns before 25 of october will i be exempted from service tax are i need to pay it please advice me .

what was your taxable services in apr- sept > If that also was nil then till Rs 10 lakhs of taxable receipts this year you are not required to pay the st. However returns claiming exemption would have tobe filed.
