Due date for filling it return

One of our client decease on 23/09/2018 . his IT return yet to be filled by his legal heir (ie Wife). due to arrangement of death certificate and etc the filling of ITR was delay. my question is that will this attract late fees u/s 234F. or get any relaxation....?
