Dpt-4

This query is : Resolved

27 August 2014 If there exist loan in Balance Sheet as on the commencement(i.e 31.03.2014) of the act but the same has been repaid in the following year i.e y.e 31.03.2015 before the time limit of filing DPT-4.

Do I have to report the same to ROC? If so, is there any specific place in form to write the date of repayment.

28 August 2014 According to me.its not.require to file Bcpz u have already paid

30 August 2014 Rushab: DPT-4 is still required to be filed as the form requires the details of deposits as on 1st April 2014 (i.e. opening balance sheet).

No there is no need for any filing when the deposit / loan is repaid.

31 August 2014 Please clarify further.

Thanks Mehul Sir & Devesh Sir for your early response.

31 August 2014 The details required are available in the DPT-4 form. These details have to as per opening balance sheet. This has to be signed by any director of the company.
Also since DPT-4 is not an eForm, it will have to be filed as an attachment to eForm GNL-2.
A certificate from the company's auditor is also required to be attached.

01 September 2014 Dear Mehul Sir,

I am confused with your answer of filing DPT-4 or not.(i.e your first reply to my query)

Sorry for the disturbance.

Thank You.

01 September 2014 What are you confused about?

if there are deposits as per new Comapnies Act (per opening Balance Sheet as on 1 April 2014) DPT-4 needs to be filed.
