Doubt on tds deduction

Suppose there is an invoice dated sometime in the month of January but it has been booked only in the month of march. what will be the last date for deduction of tds so that the same can be claimed in income tax?

u r liable to deduct tds in the month of march.. book or payment made whichever is earlier... if no advance payment is made to the party... directly u r booking it in march only, then deduction liability will b in march
