Dear experts, what are the documents required along with transfer form 109. Can i submit both form 109 and 103 at a time in the institute. How much time its take to approve both for transfer and re-join in another firm as an articlestudent.

If you taking transfer after completion of one year of articleship period then submission of both form 109 and 103 at a time is not accepted by the ICAI.
If you taking transfer after completion of one year of articleship period then you have to follow the following procedure:
1) First you have to write a request letter to the ICAI with reason to transfer
2) After receipt of acceptance by the ICAI then you have to submit form 109
3) After receipt of confirmation and acceptance of form 109 by ICAI then only you have to submit form 103.
In case you taking transfer during your first year of articleship then the above procedure not required and you can submit form 109 and 103 at a time.
It takes one to three months for each stage to receive communication from the ICAI depending on the ICAI chapter and its work.
