Depot differential duty

13 August 2014 If our excise duty rate @10.30% in 2012-13 But our duty increase in March 2013 @12.36%.
So that my question is if we goods dispatched from factory to depot @10.30% in Fy-2012-13 but some region goods not sold in Fy-2012-13 we want sale the goods as on date know what rate of duty impose on this sale of pending goods 10.30 % or 12.36%? Kindly give us ur valuable suggestion

13 August 2014 Rate of duty applicable would be rate in force on the date of removal of goods from factory i.e., 10.3%

14 August 2014 at present in my opinion from depot, you are transferring the duty only then you can tfr duty which you recd. from the factory.


14 August 2014 No, I disagree with you Reupesh Sir. There is no question of transfer of duty as once it is paid there is no need of transferring the duty to its own depot

16 August 2014 my means that, when you make billing to customer then depot not charge the rate of duty only tfr the duty as recd. from the factory.
