This query is : Resolved

17 July 2009 My employer is providing me free health insurance cover through group mediclaim policy. My employer pays 100% premium for the health insurance of the employee, but for if you wish to include family members you have to pay premium for your own. in this current fin yr 2009-10 rs 12000 deducted from my salary towards additional coverage & for inclusion family (spouse & child) coverage. Please advice in this case the amount will be claimable under Section 80D for my individual tax computation.
