27 July 2010 I have invested in TATA MOTORS FD for 3 years cummulative. I have already filed my returns on 23July2010 for AY 2010-2011 without taken into account the interest earned for FY 2009-2010 as I did not received any FORM 16A from TATA Motors & FD being cummulative. Next day, I received FORM 16A by post. What are my options? Can I account for these interests in AY 2011-2012?

27 July 2010 You should file revised Tax Return

27 July 2010 Agree

27 July 2010 You cannot carry forward this income to next year, You have time to revise your return upto 31.03.2011, therefore wait if any other TDS Certificate may come.

You have to revise your return in prescribe time limit

27 July 2010 can be revised on or before 31.3.2012. (very long time you have to spare)

27 July 2010 Revised Return is batter option.
