CPC intimation U/S 143(1) show gender female to male

09 January 2011 Respected Experts,
A female assessee made e-filing of his IT return for the AY 2010-11 shows total income Rs.182700/-. and tax nil.

but from CPC U/S 143(1) an intimation is sent to hir, CPC show gender MALE and send demand to deposit tax.

(interest) +46
NET AMOUNT PAYABLE = 2384

how can i send him rectification U/S 154 of Income Tax Act. is to be sent to Bangalore
THROUGH HARD COPY OR THROUGH E-MAIL www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in

09 January 2011 Rectification petition can be filed either electronically or manually to CPC, B'lore by post. Pl draft a petition stating the facts and also enclose a copy of the PAN Card as evidence to prove the gender and seek rectification.
