19 July 2024 In your situation, here’s how you can handle the logistics and documentation for transporting goods from Hyderabad to Kolkata, with the ultimate destination being Yangon for export:

1. **Transportation and Documentation**:
- **LR (Lorry Receipt)**: When transporting goods from Hyderabad to Kolkata, you should mention on the LR that the goods are being transported for export purposes to Yangon via Kolkata. Clearly indicate the final destination as Yangon to avoid any confusion.
- **Invoice**: Prepare an invoice stating the details of the goods, including the quantity, description, value, and the fact that they are intended for export to Yangon.
- **Transportation Route**: Plan the transportation route carefully to ensure the goods reach Kolkata smoothly without any unnecessary stops or delays.

2. **Tax Considerations**:
- **H-Form**: Since you are purchasing goods from Hyderabad against H-Form, which is for interstate purchases against concessional rate of CST (Central Sales Tax), ensure all H-Forms are properly filled and submitted to the sales tax department in Delhi.
- **Waybill in Kolkata**: Kolkata’s tax department may indeed require a waybill or similar document when the goods arrive there. To address this:
- Communicate with your logistics provider to see if they can provide a waybill or a transit declaration that clearly states the goods are in transit to Kolkata for export to Yangon.
- If a waybill is required and cannot be produced, you may need to provide other supporting documents such as the invoice, transport contract, and the export documentation (like export invoice, packing list, etc.) to explain the situation.

3. **Export Documentation**:
- Ensure all export documentation required for shipping goods to Yangon is prepared accurately. This includes export invoices, packing lists, shipping bills (as per customs requirements), and any other relevant export certificates or licenses.

4. **Consultation with Experts**:
- It might be beneficial to consult with a logistics expert or a customs broker who has experience in handling similar shipments and dealing with interstate tax and export requirements. They can provide detailed guidance on documentation and compliance with tax authorities in both Delhi and Kolkata.

By preparing comprehensive documentation and ensuring compliance with interstate tax regulations, you can facilitate smooth transit of goods from Hyderabad to Kolkata and onward export to Yangon.
