28 January 2014 My company cleared goods to SEZ unit without payment of duty without LUT. Now the excise officer is demanding duty for clearances to SEZ though they are deemed exports and cleared under ARE1. How do we come out of this situation?.Is the Officer right in demanding duty

29 January 2014 You should cleared the goods under LUT. now you can pay the duty and then get the refund.
