Dear Sir,
we are going to purchase LED lights for our new plant , and it will be used in whole building , road etc. the chapter heading as per bill is 94. whether it is claimable as capital goods or not.

chapter heading of 82 84 85 90 6801 and 6802 will be treated as capital goods heading. these can be capitalised under electrical installation but as per excise concerned

100 % input can be availed in first year

Cenvat credit can not be availed on this as these LEDs are not falling under input credit definition.
