Cen vat credit against reverse mechanism

23 December 2014 Sir,

We are paying Service Tax on security charges (75%) and leagal services (100%) to Central Excise. As we are NBFC, can we take 50% credit against this payment? We are paying S tax on Business auxialiary services too where in we are taking 50% CEN VAT credit.

Please advise.

27 December 2014 Yes you can availed Cenvat Credit under rule 2(k) of CCR 2004 of these service if these services are used for the purpose providing taxable services
