I am a CA Final Student and I am about to complete my first year of articleship. I gave my IPCC attempt group by group(One at a time) but cleared in first attempt with 67.50%. I just wanted to know that since I am pursuing my articleship through a mediocre firm, as i wanted exposure in all fields, So Can anyone please tell me that what is the criteria of selection of candidates in Campus Recruitment because it is really my dream and I badly want to join Industry. Do they really give preference to Articleship in Big 4? On the basis of their criteria should i change my future prospect of joining Industry or there are other options available for me??????? Please help me in this regard.

1st preference for selection in the campus is 1st attempt clearance and that too with good marks...so your overall percentage at each stage matters with attempt..second comes your articleship ..yes it makes difference during campus if you have your articleship with big4 but as I said your marks matters a lot...you should continue your articleship with the same firm..no need to worry
I am aiming to clear Final in first attempt only, but my concern is that I met someone recently who appeared in Campus Recruitment held just now & he was one of the students clearing CA-Final in 1st attempt with both groups but he failed in cracking due to the sole reason for being rejected on ground of Big 4 Articleship..... So after considering the present ongoing criteria...Will it be appropriate to rely on Campus Recruitment?

you cannot rely on campus ..the current scenario of campus recruited only 5.5% of the total candidates appeared..so its not possible that each person clearing ca in 1st attempt gets job...and as such there is no SOLE reason that you are rejected only on ground of big 4..

yes there are many, you can place your resume on job portal sites, make application when there is vacancies in PSU, through job consultants etc..there are several ways, day in day out there are openings available.
