Ca firm in proprietorship & partnership style

18 August 2011 whether is it possible for a member of ICAI to have his own sole proprietorship firm for say 25 tax audit files and be a partner in partnership firm for remaining tax audit files and other consultancy works.

18 August 2011 Yes. He can do so provided the limit of 45 is not crossed.

19 August 2011 thank you for resolving the query... I would like to also know whether if both the firms are empaneled for bank audit... whether both will get the same or not??
