CA FINAL EXAMS ATTEMPT

This query is : Resolved

11 February 2009 While registering for PCC, the students were told that they will be eligible to appear in the final exams only on completing three and a half years of articleship.

However, in pg-5 of Chartered Accountant-Student Newsletter for the m/o. feb 09, Mr. U P Agarwal, the then Vice-President & current President has written that "removing the discrimination for final students to appear in the examination by enabling all the final students to appear during the last six months of their practical training".

This point, though, seems irrelevant for the PE-2/final students as they are eligible to appear in the last 12 months of their training.

My query is that is this applicable for PCC Students also? Are they eligible to appear in the exams in last six months of their articleship?

Please solve the query and if possible give references.

Thanking in Advance,
regards,

CA Final

15 March 2009 Yes. It should apply to PCC but no clarification has come. I think announcement should come which will benefit PCC.
