If you have converted to the new syllabus for CA Final and have already completed your articleship along with the required ITT (Information Technology Training) and GMCS (General Management and Communication Skills) courses under the old scheme, here’s how your transition to the new scheme typically works:
1. **Transition to New Scheme:** - As you have converted to the new syllabus, you are now required to complete the Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS) and the Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics (AAPE) course under the new scheme.
2. **AICITSS Course:** - Since you have already completed 100 hours of ITT and GMCS I & II under the old scheme, you may need to check with ICAI if these fulfill the requirements of AICITSS under the new scheme. Normally, these should suffice, but it's advisable to verify this with ICAI.
3. **AAPE Course:** - You will need to complete the Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics course, which covers advanced auditing concepts and professional ethics. This course is mandatory before appearing for the CA Final exams under the new scheme.
4. **Exam Eligibility:** - Once you have completed the necessary courses (AICITSS and AAPE) and fulfilled all other eligibility criteria, you can appear for the CA Final exams under the new scheme.
5. **Additional Requirements:** - Depending on your specific situation and any changes in ICAI regulations, there might be additional requirements or courses that you need to complete. It’s essential to stay updated with ICAI announcements and guidelines.
For precise guidance tailored to your circumstances, including any specific courses or requirements you may need to fulfill under the new scheme, it’s recommended to consult with your local ICAI branch or visit the ICAI official website for the latest information and clarifications. They can provide detailed advice based on your past qualifications and current status in the transition to the new syllabus.
