I have heard of a new course called ACCA(Associate Certified C.A) which is somewhat less competitive than normal C.A course. Also while completing this course we get double graduated with Bsc.(Diploma in advanced accounting) and that also from Oxford-Brookes University. In all the stages of this course there is no maths involved and after completing the entrance level we have to articleship at various banks/MNCs and that articleship placement is given by its institiute.ACCA is universally recognises in over 170+ countries and also the prospects available after completing this course are much greater than CA.Can anyone pleae tell whether to do CA or ACCA?

From the description it seems that the course is offered by some foreign body. If you want to go for accountancy profession with a right to attestation and audit function then in India it is allowed to Chartered Accountants only. So it is better to go for the known course then to go for some unknown course with no recognition in India.
