Is self occupied house taken as an asset for calculation for wealth tax act or not, if the value of the self occcupied house exceeds rs. 30 lakhs. The assessee does not owns any other house property.

There is client of ours who has forgotten the password of efiling. We couldnt apply those three steps given so we sent the mail at validate@ income tax and it replied that password will be sent only to the registered id. Now the client is also not aware of the registered email id because for a short span her case was handled by another professional. Even if he has registered his own id he is not ready to cooperate.
Is there a way to work around this registered id problem? Please help.

Assessing office issued notice to open seperate TAN number at Madhya pradesh. Please tell any one whether the AO have the power to issue the notice.

1) Situation >>

A contractor supplies workers to a govt.dept (water authority) for its various works on daily wages basis. Here, Contractor makes payment to his daily workers, and the authority makes lumpsum payment to the contractor.
So my question is,
what are the taxes that contractor is ALLOWABLE to collect from the water authority while collecting his amount of consideration, AND as per which provisions of which acts?
