I want to know that if i have to pay duty on the used gold ornaments( 120 gms Thali(mangal sutra) with chain,bangles,engaement ring & earring) which i brought from India. At that time i was not aware that the weight of gold has to be noted in Passport by the authority. it was not acknowledged in my passport.If i wore the same when return to india, may i have to pay duty? pls reply.

i am Raja i am a proprietor of a new export company i am going to import a colour sorter machine from china for which i required EPCG licence, for that i have prepared all the documents through an agent, but he tells me that i must give a bank guarantee of the amount which i get waiver from epcg, because i have not yet started export, so i need to give the bank guarantee, but i have gone for the loan for my capital good itself here after i cannot prepare for the amount for bank guarantee, so kindly can you refer any alternative please,reply as soon as possible

We are manufacturer of packing material. We got an order from USA and on his instructions we send the packing material to a person who manufactures handicraft.Handicraft manufacturer export the handicraft in our packing boxes.In his Bill of entry he only mentions his goods ie handicrafts
Problem: Our packing material are actually exported but we have no proof of export. Since, handicraft is duty free goods and handicraft manufacturer is not registered in excise and hence can not issue any form in this regard.
As a proof of export we have only Form-H which is issued by handicraft manufacturer and receipt in US dollar..
Kindly suggest how can we get the credit of excise duty paid on manufacture of packing material and other export benfits
