Every employee who is drawing a salary or wage upto Rs. 10000.00 per month (w.e.f. 1-4-2006) and who has worked for minimum period of 30 days in a year is entitled to be paid bonus. {Section 2(13) & 8}
However, now a days as we use CTC, so therefore it depends on your company that they pay bonus to those employees too whose salary is above 10K

other case is that employee getting basic 15000 and also getting bonus and both are part of ctc. are they right because basic is >10000 and bonus is given?
