What is the basic requirement for individuals to deduct TDS.

you have to go through the provisions of section 204 of IT Act for understanding who is the person resposible for paying who is liable to deduct tax at source

if an individual whose total turnover is rs 40 lakhs and in prfession gross receipt is rs 10
lakhs are liable to audit u/s 44AB under income tax act. the tds provision is applicable to individual only if above condition is applicable
