Dear Expert, we are preparing a cash flow statement as per AS 3(revised) if applicable to the company and balance sheet as per the schedule III of company act 2013. My question is "whether cash and cash equivalent as per cash flow statement should be equal to cash and cash equivalent as per the balance sheet" ???. should we link the cash and cash equivalent from the cash flow statement to balance sheet at the time of preparing the financial statement ???. Please clarify me if agreed or disagreed with the above statement.
