i want to purchase agriculture land..

what is procedure for the same

should i get farmer certificate from govt.. if yes than what is the procedure

26 January 2016 Normally any Indian resident can purchase agricultural land. Farmer certificate is not necessary. There are restrictions on non-residents to purchase agricultural land. Also, Non-ST cannot purchase, land in the scheduled areas.
Better to check with Revenue Authorities to know the restrictions if any, before acquiring the same.
