can there be two chairman in public limited company. one is for board of director and other one is executive chairman

Their cannot be two Chairman in a public limited Company
However their can be different chairman for board as well as general meeting.

Generally the person who is the Chairman in the Board is the Executive Chairman of the Company.
However, there may be different person who are the Chairman in the Board Meeting and the Chairman of the Company, in case the Chairman of the Company is not there in the Board of Directors.

as per any of the provisions of companies act is there any restrictions for having more than one chairman. one can be chairman of board and general meeting and another will precides over sub committees.
