Can a Grandmother get deduction u/s 80 C towards contribution in PPF a/c of Grandchild. the PPF a/c being in the name of minor Grandchild.

By virtue of section 80C(4) grandmother cannot claim deduction u/s 80C for PPF contribution in respect of her grandchild. The deduction is limited to wife or husband or children of an individual assessee.
